What the Channel of Maturation means

The Channel of Maturation joins Gate 42, Maturation, in the Sacral Center with Gate 53, Beginnings, in the Root Center. The Sacral is the body's source of life force and sustainable energy. The Root is the body's source of drive and pressure. Linked together, the push to start something new is matched by the stamina to see it through.

The theme is balanced development. Gate 53 opens a cycle and Gate 42 brings it to completion. Together they hold the whole arc, from fresh start through the messy middle to a finished end, in the right order.
