What Gate 59 means

Gate 59 is the gate of sexuality, and more deeply, of bonding. It carries the life force that breaks through the walls between people so that closeness can happen: the energy behind intimacy, partnership, family, and whatever we create together that outlasts us. It dissolves the distance that keeps people strangers.

This energy comes from the Sacral Center, the body's source of life force and sustainable work, so it's physical and alive, not an idea. Joined with Gate 6 it forms the Channel of Intimacy, where your drive to bond meets the emotional sense of when and with whom closeness is right.

The six lines of Gate 59
